What is OrderPing?
OrderPing is a Shopify app that verifies Cash-on-Delivery orders on WhatsApp and sends lifecycle notifications for every order stage — purpose-built for merchants in COD-heavy markets.
If you sell in India, MENA, or Southeast Asia, two things are almost certainly true: a big share of your orders are Cash-on-Delivery, and WhatsApp is where your customers actually reply. OrderPing plugs into that reality.
What it does
- COD order confirmation. Every new COD order gets a WhatsApp message with a one-tap confirm or cancel link before shipping — so you only ship orders the customer has actually confirmed.
- Order lifecycle notifications. Automated WhatsApp updates for order created, order confirmed, shipped, delivered, returned, and refunded.
- Auto-tagging. Orders get tagged
COD-Confirmed,COD-Cancelled, orCOD-Unconfirmedin Shopify so you can filter, automate, or route them downstream. - Auto-cancellation. Optionally cancel orders that stay unconfirmed past your chosen timeout window.
